Originally "LiveGig" was set up as a mobile recording rig, that could be taken to pubs and clubs to record bands "Live" (hence the name!). This was a project that was not persued to much, and so only a few bands were recorded. But the equipment, and the urge to record remains.
This service is still being offered and is described by clicking the"Live Recording" link at the top of this page.
Over the past year the studio has been built in the grounds of our small holding, giving us an ideal location away from neighbours but close to the M1 junction 9. Now running under the name of Chad Lane Studios, this first studio is sound proofed and designed to easily take a full band, in a comfortable environment with wonderfull views (sounds like I'm selling a holiday home - but it is a bit like that!). Our access and parking make it very easy to get your equipment in and out, and you will not be disturbed by bands in neighbouring rooms!
You will be supplied with free tea and coffee, but if you want anything stronger you'll have to bring it yourself...
